Summer is starting to heat up in the Burgh! Though there are parts of Texas that are incredibly humid (ahem, Houston), my previous city was considered a dry heat...which means minimal stickiness. You might sweat, but it dries. Pittsburgh is a little different. Our little borough is less than two miles from the Ohio River, so...yeah. You could say it's a bit sticky.
Our animals are adjusting well, though. But they dogs were definitely in need of a summer haircut. We found a great groomer not far from our house. It's actually a pretty neat set-up: there are several full-time groomers, a few dog-bathers, several DIY dog bath stands, and a puppy treat shop. The dogs were in and out in a few hours. They even got little patriotic bandanas that will be recycled for July 4th.

Also of note: we are on the last roll of the cheap (crap?!) toilet paper the Man Friend bought when he was a fake bachelor for a few months. While this has nothing to do with our sweet babies, I think it is something worth celebrating on a Fri-yay. Late comic John Pinette agrees with me (starts around 2:48).
